Baptism is not only a sign of profession, and mark of difference; but it is also a sign of regeneration, or the new birth.

Baptisms at Christ The King International is scheduled each month. Prior to baptism, adults, youth, and parents of infants and young children must take a class to receive instruction on the meaning of this sacrament.

More About Baptism

We believe that water baptism is simply an outward expression of the inward change in a believers life. . It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus.

Being baptised with water is a demonstration of our obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ that shows others we have trusted Jesus for our salvation through. Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded us to be baptized with water according to Matthew 28:19-20. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raised out of the water to identify with His resurrection. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead.

We believe water baptism is the recognition of three important things:

  1. You are a follower of Jesus Christ?
  2. You are beginning a changed life in Christ?
  3. You are part of a new family?

Here are a few things that will be helpful when planning for Baptism:

  • On the day of your baptism, please bring a towel and change of clothes
  • This is an important step in your walk with Christ – invite your friends and family to come and celebrate with us.
